Green and Speckled Frog
-Cardboard cut out of a frog
-Black or Brown dot painter
-Colored construction paper
Trace and cut out a cardboard frog. Allow child to paint the frog and then flip it over and stamp it onto their paper.
Child cuts out circles for their frogs eyes. They glue on the circles and a piece of yarn for the frogs mouth.
When the frog is dry the child can dot point the frog's speckles on! When finished have them count how many speckles they put on their frog.
The child can make up a name for their frog and a story about where the frog lives, what it eats, etc.
This activity is a great one for building fine motor, math, and language skills!
